Upwind Solutions
Upwind Solutions is a yacht management company in Bali offering management, consulting, agency and boat care services. Its website was the pilot build for Orbit CMS, our form-based CMS for static sites.
The site had to match the boats the company manages: fast, polished and easy to update from anywhere. WordPress would have meant plugins, updates and a hosting bill to babysit, so we went static instead.
This was also the pilot for Orbit CMS, so the real question underneath the design work was whether a client could genuinely run a static site through simple forms.
We shipped nine fully static pages on Cloudflare Pages, covering yacht management, consulting, agency and care services plus about, contact and legal. Every image ships as AVIF and WebP with a JPG fallback for the heavy marine photography. Seven team profiles and a fleet gallery of eighteen photographs are editable through forms, lead capture runs straight into the Orbit portal inbox, and llms.txt, sitemap and robots files cover search and AI crawlers.
The first Orbit Site went live with nothing to patch and nothing to hack: no plugins, no database, no admin login to attack. The client edits copy and photos through forms, and the site re-renders and redeploys itself. Every Orbit site we have shipped since follows the pattern this build proved.
