A collective,
not an agency
An agency sells you a department. A collective casts the three people your brief actually needs, then puts their names on the work.
We don't staff projects. We cast them.
An agency sells you whoever is free this month. A collective works the other way around: we read the brief first, then gather the designer, developer and writer it actually calls for. Small casts, usually two or three people, each one chosen, none assigned.
That is also why every case in our portfolio lists every name. If you shaped the work, your name stays on it. No umbrella credits, no single moniker, no one buried in an agency footer. Clients get accountability they can point at; makers get work they are proud to sign.
re.make started in Warsaw in 2020, building brands and stores for independent labels: a candle maker, a tattoo studio, fashion labels, a game studio, a jewellery brand. Small businesses with strong products and no patience for agency theatre. That chapter shaped how we operate; the work now shows what the collective builds today: client sites, stores, and products of our own.
The through-line was never an industry, it was a type of founder: someone who cares about the thing they make and wants the brand to carry that care. Businesses like that don't need more clients funnelled at them. They need fans.
In 2025 we rebuilt the way we work around AI. Design exploration, copy drafts, code and search research all run with AI in the loop, directed and edited by the cast. The result is not cheaper work, it is more work per hour of human judgement: builds ship in four to six weeks, and SEO-ready copy is part of every project instead of an upsell.
This site is its own case study: designed, written and built AI-first, running on Orbit CMS, with every page editable by the collective through a simple panel.
The collective is anchored by Ludovic Verbeeck, a designer-developer with fifteen years of brand and web work, and grows per project: art directors, photographers, writers and developers from the Warsaw scene and beyond, cast per brief. You always know who is on yours.
The studio sits in Warsaw: concrete, north light, one long shared table. Most work happens there; the rest happens wherever the cast is.
The right people. The right brief. Every name on the page.
